well, back to basic stuff
A few people had complained that the mix of opinions and politics was confusing, there was no easy way to split feeds, so I took another look at Facebook. However, it won't let me change the alias I first set up to my actual name, so I'm not willing to use it. Hence the mix will restart.
Yesterday was a great riding day. Was going to go on a four hour drive to visit a buddy over the weekend. However, an afternoon meeting popped up. I don't want to ride a motorcycle on a new route, especially since the last bit's over some cool mountain roads, at night. Since the last two hours would have been in the dark, I'm just doing errands at home.
I'm thinking of splurging on some electrically heated gloves. Today I got some gators to cover the gap between boot and bottom of pants, and I'm thinking of spending a chunk on electric gloves, as those are two of the only three areas that get cold in the winter. The third is the chin, but a scarf does an ok job there. It's nice riding in winter, without the snow or rain of course, much more comfortable than those 110 degree summer days in Texas.
