They just can't help it
Two segments in last night's Daily Show were a great pair, showing, yet again, how hypocritical the Right is.
The first segment was on the last "Tea Party" of the year. Lots of people flew into DC to scream about wasteful spending. Lots of idiots spoke. My favorite was the Fox talking head who equated providing Americans with health care to the Holocaust. Yes, giving people basic health coverage at an affordable rate is certainly the same as killing 12 million people (Don't forget, the 6 million Jews were only half of those exterminated by the Nazis).
The second was about Obama's Administration sending lots of Christmas ornaments used by previous Administrations out to schools across the US, so that children could decorate the ornaments for future White House use. Another Fox talking head brilliantly summed upped the Right's lunacy by decrying it as a way to "indoctrinate" children to Obama's way of thinking. People at a real news organization might have been more careful, or less ignorant, but the talking head was hilariously stunted in her mental processes.
The first episode shows Fox pandering to the least intelligent among us. The second shows that at least one of the folks at Fox isn't pandering, she's in the same category as her audience.
