The Palestinians have been caught:
1) Staging injuries.
2) Staging deaths.
3) Just inventing both.
Then there's the most famous lie, though famous because most people refuse to admit it's a lie. Mohammed al-Dura. He's the boy who "died" in his fathers arms in 2000. France's state run television caught the footage. A Frenchman pointed out the impossibility of the boy being killed by IDF troops, say France 2 TV lied and was sued for libel.
For years, the station refused to release all the footage of the event, only showing the few seconds broadcast. They were ordered to do so by the courts. While they still wouldn't release all, and have yet to be punished for violating the court order, they released most of it. That was enough for the defendant to win his case. The judge said that he did not libel them. The odds are that the still missing minutes, still not released, show the kid moving after he was dead.
