I got a call from the manager at Maurice's today.  I didn't get the job, but I really appreciated that they called me though.  Nobody else has in a really long time.  I think it shows real professionalism to be able to do that and give even a potential employee, even one you have to turn down.

I'm still hopeful though.  Hoping Flappy's comes through.  Yes, that is the name of the pancake house, but I still think those folks have passion.  And if it doesn't pan out, I'm registering to be a substitute out here.  I still have some options working for me.

On another note, congratulations to Larissa and Louie on their engagement!
