I picked up this book as it was placed on a cart next to me as I brooded away writing in my local library. I was surprised to find that this story was not only a great read, but it gave me some insight of New Orleans, it's culture, and how food plays a great part in that culture. After finding out that this book was the third in a series, I quickly went back and god "Liquor," which is the first by Brite.
