The Day
First off, thank you to all who sent birthday wishes and virtual gifts! Much appreciated.
Nin took the day off for my birthday, but I had to work. Payweek, don't you know. But I dd cut out early, so fun was had. Went to In-N-Out for a 'brunch' -- it was 10:45 and I hadn't eaten anything today. Then we ran some errands to Petco for kitten food and Cal Ranch for chicken food. Did some window shopping at Eddie Bauer, and then we went to see 'Pacific Rim'. Really good movie, glad we went. I've always been a fan of Godzilla movies, so this was a treat. Now we're home, and roast beef and Yorkshire pudding is on the menu, along with a lemon chocolate ganache tart for dessert. And lots of wine!
