Squirrel is my daughter who does things. For the past several years, she only does good things. She is a teenager today. She is a lot of fun to be around!

I went out to measure how much snow we had (13"). I asked about the snow and got this response from Squirrel (12):

This is USELESS snow! It is not slippery or icy, so you cant go sledding. It won't stick together for snowmen or snowballs. It is heavy to shovel. And it is Saturday, so it doesn't even get us out of school! This is USELESS snow

Squirrel did her first book report on A Wrinkle in Time. That went ok. I think she liked the book, but she kept putting off finishing it. We finally found a copy of Howl's Moving Castle and gave it to her. She finished the book in two days. She is now begging for sequels. Me: Brown, bleaching to red highlights.
Squirrel (to Moose): See, you have Dad's hair!

I was talking to Moose about her school schedule. Her bus has been quite erratic this week, she got the schedule for pickup today. She actually does have variable start times.
