how fun...

the next few days will be my slow decline from the happiness that I had from toronto. It was a great time. Not one second wasted. The funny thing is that in canada, the legal age to buy alcohol is 19... what a coincidence. AND... the beer up there is 5% which is more than in the states. Thanks to lily, the whole trip was worth while. I discovered my so-called "states accent" and I came up with my theory on the canadian accent. If you ever read this lily, thanks for a fun time! unfortunately I did not get to see katrina. after hours of desperate searching for her phone number I gave up the hopeless chase.

have you ever noticed that we take things for granted, for example, since I live in florida, I take disney world for granted... well it's the same way in canada. I went ice skating with a canadian who had never been before, on the other hand, I've been many times.

Childhood memories were relived. when I was at my nana's house, the first thing I did was go to the park up the street that I used to play at when I was 11 the last time I was there. of course, this time it was covered in snow and it was about 14 degrees. my sister and I took the lid off a storage bin and used it at a makeshift toboggan. I don't know if I could ever have that much fun again. I fell more than once across the street from my nana's house in the field with all the snow, and it hurts so bad to fall on cold hands. it was all fun though. the thing that I will remember most until next time I go is probably getting hit in the eye with a ball of ice outside of my cousins house. the first day after christmas it snowed heavy and it was so beautiful. before that there was some day old snow and the top of it had hardened, well that's when we had a snowball fight, only they weren't snowballs they were iceballs and my sister got a lucky shot to my eye. thanks jennifer! still fun though.

so happy new years everyone and I hope you had as much fun for Christmas as I did.
