the boys are back in town...

It's nice to be back home in a way, but I can see how old memories might come back to me, some good and some bad. It was very exciting for me to find out last month that my family and I were going up to Canada this year to visit my nana for Christmas. The exciting thought is turning more into reality every day. I'm just sad that I can't go to Utah this year to catch up on my snowboarding experience. It's always fun to hit the slopes during the Christmas holiday. On the other hand, I haven't been up to Toronto in about 9 years so I will have a lot of catching up to do with family and friends. I just wonder if it's still the same... I don't know what it is but there's something about the place that just makes me happy when I think about it. I love the winter season, I love being able to see my breath. Of course I love the summer too because I live in Florida, and regardless of the temperature I wear sandles... so I'm a true Floridian. I haven't been to the beach in ages (since right before the school year started when I used to go to the drum circle at the beach in Nokomis), it's so hard to make time to go with college and ATO and my new friends. It would be great to get a group of brothers and go camping or snowboarding or just on a road trip for spring break. hmmm, I'll think about that one some more...
