So many great lines <3

He remembers Hal saying exasperatedly: The mess you make of everything. And he remembers asking: Me, what did I do?

The answer is of course nothing. This was the one thing that never failed to make Hal angry. Inaction. Doubt.

<333

It did end up being more Hal/Cutler than Nick/Tom but that's the hazard of Nick's POV :D The bits with Tom were very IC and quite touching... And yes, Nick's too self-absorbed to be more than superficially nice.

Thaaaank you! <333 Well, I never actually thought I could write Nick/Tom as a pairing, so I sort of gave up before I even started. XD But hey, even getting them to inteact in the same fic is a feat the way I see it. Tom is a little nightmare!

Hear my loud sigh of relief. XDDDD
Cutler is a Mean Girl, we've already established that))) He learnt from the diva that is Hal but he is quite a bitca in his own right now. XDDDD
If only I could see some fanart of that mental image! If I could only draw... XDDD
I'm happy that you liked it! <333 I love writing fics for people, so I can guarantee this is not the last time. ;))))

Not for the first time - and I'm sure it won't be the last - I've got to say it: I just love your Cutler! <333 That perfect mix of dreamer, schemer and loser. His ruthlessness that goes hand in hand with a complete lack of malice. It came across so wonderfully in the show - which was basically due to AG's gorgeous performance - and you capture it so well here.

he didn’t want to be one of those villains who voiced their every step. - Love the foreshadowing here!

And this is just the perfect summary of Cutler's character: Being selfish doesn’t make you evil. It just straightens your priorities. And you did a great job with Tom. He's so tough to write. He's so simple and straightforward, but I find that that just makes him a more difficult character to tackle. You've managed to get across not just his big heart (no pun intended!) but the fact that he has depths. That ignorance doesn't equal stupidity ( ... )

I can't even imagine what Cutler would have been like if anyone else had played him. Andrew brought so much awesomeness into him! I rewatched bits of 4x06 today - and LOL, his face when Tom was trying to get Allison not to kill Golda! Tom's all: You're perfect, you know Norwegian))) And Golda is like: Yuck, feels! But Cutler has such a funny face during that speech))) Like: LOLWUT, Norwegian? Cool. XD I still maintain that he found Tom/Allison adorable. (I think Andrew actually thinks so too based on his interview. XD)
Tom is a nightmare to write! Hell, even George is easier, and I used to think George was horribly difficult.
Hal and his twisted ideas of fun. Cutler misses the good old days. ;)))
Oh, I agree that Nick's plan was actually pretty awesome. It was innovative and simple enough to work. But the Old Ones are a bunch of dumb calcified fossils and the Men in Grey are not to be trifled with, so... poor baby failed hard.
>_< You flatter me, darling. <333 (You're one to talk about "cutting": you more angsty stories carve people ( ... )

First, I feel like I should apologize for being a creeper and commenting on numerous stories in a row all in the same day. I started out trying to read very little in the fandom because I wanted to get my head around my own take on these characters, and while I'm totally not there with that yet at all, I've given up on trying not to read what others are writing and am apparently reading EVERYTHING instead? I don't know.

And mostly I'm learning that I will probably never even bother attempting to write Cutler because I'm now all kinds of intimidated. You're seriously great with Cutler. This story is no exception.

He always hated getting blood all over himself, especially if there was no one to lick it off.The image this line invokes. So hot. Also, the entire bit about Cutler's best and worst night in the cage ( ... )

Aww, never apologize for comments! <333 I'm loving them! Sorry for slow replies, it's been a crazy day. >_<
LOL, I sometimes avoid reading things too, esp. if the characters are new to me and I want to try my hand at writing them. But I usually break down very quickly XDDD
And mostly I'm learning that I will probably never even bother attempting to write Cutler because I'm now all kinds of intimidated. Awww, don't beee! I'd love to see your take on Cutler. I should say that I admire your Tom! I find Tom one of the hardest characters to write (followed closely by Annie for some reason). He gave me a lot of trouble in this fic and in GT. But you write him so effortlessly (at least that's the end result, imho). It really feels like his character just flows. <333 NOW GO AND TRY CUTLER! XDDDD
Haha, I can't do without movie references))) I learned from Whedon. XDDD
I'm so glad you liked this fic. And thank you for the comment(s)! I be a happy author now! <3
