Tonight was Halloween, well part II since Harnett County was the only county who declared trick or treating for tonight, when really it began yesterday. Of course I worked both days since it seems to be all I do. However tonight I took advantage of being able to dress up at work. I dug up some of what I actually brought with me of my Ren gear and put together, of course, a pirate outfit. Rox's sister did my make-up all pretty and her mom lent me some motorcycle boots that she swore were the most comfortable she'd had. My feet still hurt from wearing them all day. But they were a nice touch to the appeal of my costume. Clad with my striped long sleeves and stockings, and my first-owned red bodice for the special touch, I was happy to at least take some part in the festivities. Last night Joe, Leo and I drove around looking for some party to go to and found 3 dead end parties that, ironically enough, had substantially interesting events packed in between. Giving further proof to the journey being more worthwhile than the destination, as they say it. Rox and I also made pumpkins this year at her mom's house. She carved Gizmo out of a stencil she drew up and carved the headless horseman out of a stencil from a book...but i carved BOO into the side...I liked it. Technically it was the first i had ever fully carved, so I was well satisfied. My poor Roxi was sick for the past 48 hrs however, so she stayed in bed most of the time. I am officially exhausted after working 2 weeks through having 1 day off. These overtime checks are gonna help a lot with bills I gotta pay before we can go down to Florida to visit for a week. I don't know how much money it's gonna leave us to spend while we're there, but I'll be happy if we can both go and just enjoy ourselves. Im scared though, this trip could either go extremely well...or extremely ridiculous. I've got my head held high either way. I can't wait
