Hello world! Tonight, I'm cooking/ruining some beets, and watching Night of the Living Dead!
I have no idea how to tell if these beets are done.
The teevee tells me that the Mad Max trilogy (right? I have no idea) is being run on AMC soon. Bryan has insisted I watch it, because apparently, he references the movies enough that I've clearly been missing something.
I don't know why I thought I could cook anything here. Most/half the cooking goodies are still back at the apartment. No butter, olive oil, fresh (probably now rotten) garlic. Dunno what I'm doing with these beets. I'll probably just eat em Schrute-style. Whatever that is.
I bought a "costume" at World Market (boo, I've always known it as Cost Plus, though I understand the name change)- giraffe ear headband with a clip-on tail. FANCY. I"m really going all out this year.
I could probably bang out a couple more paragraphs, but I think I should go stare at my boiling beets.
