Ended up watching the Star Wars movie after all, which wasn't as much about The Force Awakening as in What the heck has the Force been doing, exactly? (Actually, should have gone in for Ip Man 3.) But eh, it was a corporate thing with free tickets.

Yeah, the "another death star" thing bugged me too. The Empire/First Order's philosophy seems to be along the lines of "They blew it up, let's build another. Oh, they blew that one up too? Let's BUILD A BIGGER ONE." Because, hey, if it doesn't work the first time....

I've heard Kylo being referred to as Darth Emo. Cannot unsee. Also, I picture afterlife-Anakin just following his grandson around, unseen, and sighing and shaking his head.
