I'm home sick from work today; the plague that
laurellady and
madelineusher have been battling for two weeks finally got me.
Our doctor was kind enough to prescribe antibiotics by phone, since I'm
due to travel tomorrow and can't afford the risk of my following them
into bronchitis. However, I'd say it's a 50/50 proposition
whether I'll be well enough to travel. God damn it, I really really really want to go to Kaaba this weekend! Hermes, Tahuti, Patecatl, do your stuff!
Meanwhile, I've been catching up on my friends' posts.
valkea_lumme pointed out a fun
Belief-o-matic quiz, which tries to figure out what faiths might work for you. Here are my top ten:
1.
Neo-Pagan (100%) 2.
New Age (97%) 3.
Unitarian Universalism (89%) 4.
New Thought (83%) 5.
Liberal Quakers (82%) 6.
Reform Judaism (81%) 7.
Mahayana Buddhism (81%) 8.
Scientology (75%) 9.
Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (75%) 10.
Taoism (71%)
Is it really that surprising that I wrestle with my spirituality so
much? I'm sure I'm just as puzzled as the average pagan Quaker
Jewish Buddhist Scientologist with liberal Christian leanings and a
dash of Taoism.
