I just made laurellady a very happy camper, and I'll bet madelineusher will be tickled, too -- we're going to see Theatre of NOTE's production of "A Mulholland Christmas Carol" on December 8. L.A. history meets Dickens as a musical -- how can it go wrong?
And speaking of the brilliant daughter, I can't resist adding that her SAT scores are in: 800 on English, and 680 on math. I don't recall what she got on that newfangled composition part, but it was in the 600s somewhere. Not too shabby, kid. (She plans to take it again; I guess she can sit and play with her Gameboy during the English segment next time.)
