There are no more night classes this semester, as the last of them took their final exams last night. So I will be working from 8 am to 4 pm until ngiht classes resume for the summer semester on May 22nd. I like getting off so early; being done with work for the day while it is still daylight outside is a trip, lemme tell ya! But I hate getting ( Read more... )

Ugh I totally hate waking up early too! Well, I guess most people do. For the summer I am also scheduled to work at 8am in the mornings! I don't know how I will survive :/ The good thing is that work will be a short walk away, but still. But then again, Jocelyn works at 5 am sometimes so I guess I shouldn't complain :>

Yeah, I shouldn't complain either. 5 am!!! *dies*
But you're lucky you get to walk to work in the mornings, I can just imagine how lovely that would be. Of course, in the horrid humidity in Mississippi, that would be no treat.
We can both do it, this early morning crap. WE CAN DOOOO EEETTT!!! WOO!! :D

eek! yeah humidity would be awful! Yeah, I am going to try and be positive too because otherwise I probably would be able to wake up, hehe.

HA

My schedule is variable, but there are days when I have to get up at 2am to make it to work. (and then I'll get a day where I don't go in until 10 or even 12). I probably have one of the stupidest schedules there is.

Unfortunately stupid neighbors can't be dealt with very well. They know that there is no authority that is interested in enforcing basic common courtesy, so they feel free to be the biggest stinkiest asshats they can be. It's Asshat Pride Day every day for these clowns! :-/

I wish I had suggestions for how to deal but I don't think there is anything that works on asshats. Just look forward to the day you can move to a better place. (and console yourself with fantasies of shooting them or gluing their butts to their toilets...or whatever suits your fancy)

That is the big difference between apartments in Hattiesburg and those here in Brandon. The apartments in Hattiesburg are filled with mostly college kids and they stay up all night making noise for us that have to get up in the morning and go to work. Most of the people in the apartments here in Brandon are in their late 20s early 30s who have to go to work in the morning. But, I too was once a noisy college kid.

yeah, I guess I probably was too, though it was so long ago it feels like another lifetime. well, not that long.... maybe 6-7 years?? at least since I was the kind of person who stayed up to all hours listening to super loud death metal and having animated conversations with my friends for all to hear.
I am hoping that when I move to Mark IV, the situation will improve. I am crossing my fingers.

Mark IV should be a better situation mid 20s and up.

noisy neighbours suck. and makin noise intil 2 am,... T_T
i am glad you asked them to be a little more quiet. being polite is in my opinion the only way. my experience is that they only freak out and respond to your, from their persepctive, rude behavior and they only make more noise...
good luck...!!
