(no subject)
There are no more night classes this semester, as the last of them took their final exams last night. So I will be working from 8 am to 4 pm until ngiht classes resume for the summer semester on May 22nd. I like getting off so early; being done with work for the day while it is still daylight outside is a trip, lemme tell ya! But I hate getting up so early. It's a struggle for me to get here by 10 am, let alone 8. I was about 20 minutes late this morning.
Next week registration begins. It will officially end next Thursday, but in actuality will not be over until May 31st. Ugh. Summer registration is never as horrible as spring or fall, but I still dread it. It has already started to get a little hectic around here.
Oh my goodenss, I just realized I get to go home in a mere hour and a half!! I was thinking, last night, curled up in my bed, all warm and cozy, that I might stay til 5 or 6 today. But now, in the harsh reality of daytime, I am thinking NO WAY!!
Speaking of last night, my asshat neighbors stayed outside in the rather small corridor between my builing and the one adjacent (which is right below my bedroom window), smoking cigarettes and talking SO LOUDLY I could hear them in every room of the apartment with the doors shut, until 2 am. I finally went out and asked them to keep it down a little, at which point they did go indoors, but only to bound up and down their stairs, right on the other side of my paper-thin bedroom wall, and it sounded as though they were falling into the wall all night or something. I was so pissed. They are so loud all the time. Where do they find the nerve?? I mean, how can they not know they are being WAY TOO LOUD??!?!?!?!?!?! And they were totally rude when I politely asked them to shut up. Considering how pissed I was, they were lucky I was able to be polite at all. Then they go and give me attitude. Well, no more Ms. Nice Chick.
