Why do you love this character? He is philosophical, free-spirited and overall the best character from Moomins. He likes to travel alone a lot and leaves Moomin, Sniff and the others when they go to sleep on the winter for a longer time. Then when Spring arrives, he always comes back from his adventures. He is easily the wisest and most experienced of the group. He doesn't want to own things and he thinks that if you get too attached to something, it will only make things worse in the end. He values his freedom immensely and loves nature. He hates being told what to do and wants to come and go as he pleases. At one point, he rips off all these "not allowed" signs from this park and throws them away so that nothing will be forbidden anymore. Snufkin also enjoys fishing and smoking his pipe.
