Today's progress

Apr 25, 2010 20:35

Not much progress today. I will admit, I was extremely flakey and tired today, so I ended up watching stuff on Netflix way more than I should have. However, I did finish (except for the hook and eye) the willow skirt:

It even has patch pockets! I really like how the complexity of the print hides the pockets almost completely.

And, I did some spinning:

I got the first-ply bobbin off and put on a new bobbin this morning. You'd think I'd be further along with the spinning, except I'm making three ply sock yarn. This yarn won't be washer-dryer friendly, but they will wear forever. Forever. This wool is nearly bullet-proof just as roving.

Or, this yarn could be mittens. You could safely catch stray bullets in your neighbourhood while wearing them.

Right. Clearly sleep time now.
Tomorrow, baking. (Oh, well, and grocery shopping, errand running and laundry.)
