i finally remembered why i have a laptop. i'm sitting on my porch. the sun has set and there are three tea lights burning on my table. i hear a car in passing below the lower fields. the silhouette of the wisteria hangs against the last of the dying day. this year it covers more than half the porch. too bad it's going to be cut down, it would offer blessed shade in the heat of the summer.
i have been reminded these last couple of days, that i am absolutely blessed to be where i am. the beauty that surrounds me everyday is stunning. once in a while you just have to shut up, sit back and be where you are.
i am grateful.
