Fuck Me!
Joyous occasion...not really. I got into ANOTHER car accident today. That's right, I had one Friday night and then I got into one today at lunchtime. That sucked. Damnit. I was even going the speed limit for once too...and u all know that I never go the speed limit. Some dumb fuck cut off the guy in front of me, and we both had to stop real fast. Of course, being as the ground was all wet and slippery. So he managed to miss the guy who cut him off, but my brakes locked and I went sliding...right into his rear bumper. The guy was really nice though. He said not to worry about it, and that I could call the cops if I wanted to, but he didn't care about the damage to his car. So of course, I said sure...being as I would have been the one to get the ticket.
Well, I got about a quarter of a mile further, and then I had another one of those "oh shit" moments. I guess the accident screwed up the latch for my hood, and the damn thing decided to fly up into my windshield. For a second, I had all of six inches of my windshield to see out of cuz I had this big gray thing in my vision. Yeah, that was wonderful. So I pulled off to the side of the road and called the cops, my mom, and a tow truck. How wonderful. I would like to thank two guys who stopped by to see what was the problem...one of them even waited for at least five minutes until my mom showed up. I don't know who u guys are, but thank you.
Anyway, now to detail the damage. I no longer have headlights, cuz those got crushed. I would be lucky if I could say that was all that happened. But no. I have a nice big dent in my hood from where it flew up and hit my windshield. I'm thankful that the windshield didn't shatter though...that could have truly sucked. Other than that...my car's okay. It is drivable though...technically. I need new headlights and a new hood. Either that or I could be ghetto and just replace the headlights and then just tie the hood down. But no...I don't think so.
Of course it figures...I REALLY need to go find a job now. Damn.
