For auction is a Vitamix Vita Prep 3 3HP Blender. This is the one we use to make all the foods in our living foods demonstrations at almost all of our rawfood demos.  We recommend this blender for the living foods diet for doing foods such as raw hummus or raw almond butter and other heavy foods that require a heavy duty motor.

I am throwing in 6 bags of Prillings ($25 per bag value.. total value $150). I always drink my green smoothies every morning but not unless its prilled first. I try to get the most alkaline shakes possible and will do anything to keep it from being acidic.

This is the blender that is used in our demonstrations in our classes and seminars when we blended avocado pits. This blender got the least grainy texture when comparing it to all the other 3hp blenders.

One apple has about 385 different phytochemicals. You only utilize them when they are broken out of the cell walls.

Bitter mellon, a very in-expensive vegetable, has the highest amount of phytochemicals of any vegetable...even more than swiss chard which is 2nd.

I love muscadine grapes. Of all the grapes, these are the only ones worth eating if they are available. these are known to have the most phytochemicals of any grape. Make sure you blend its seeds!

Also.. make sure you don't juice citrus fruits.. Blend the seeds and the white part of the orange but do not juice the outer skin.. its just to hold the fruit.. not meant to be eaten. And, do not eat the skin on the avocado but make sure you eat the pit. It has the most soluable fiber of any food... even more than oatmeal. Oatmeal doesn't even come close! The pit is so bland that you won't even notice it and no.. it won't hurt your blender. This blender will rip that pit apart. And my favorite things to put in along with my drinks are bee pollen, vanilla bean, hemp protein, and my favorite.. cacao nibs.

One thing you will never hear me talk about is bananas. They are on my Top with a capital T of all foods to avoid. This might seem strange coming from a vegan rawfoodist but based on the books we have read and research we know this is true. I wish I could go to grocery stores and take the bannanas out of customers shopping carts and tell them how bad they are for them.

I also do not drink wheatgrass. I wish people knew more and did more research on this before drinking it. You will eventually learn if you read the book that this grass is not a suitable food for a healthy lifestyle.

I also blend the core of the pinapple. This is where most of the nutrients are found...I won't even mention what I do with the skin on the pinapple after I soak it over night.

Ok.. now this is going to seem strange but if you want a super dose of anti-oxidants and tired of taking anti-oxidants in pill form at the health food stores then you will want to blend the "apricot kernal". It is very hard.. and no.... it will not ruin a Total blender or the blade. I throw the entire apricot in the blender. You do not want to eat the kernal alone.. it's very bitter. I eat a seed a day (do not give children the seed).

This blender will do a great job making antelope seed milk. I put the seeds in with water and then strain it and then throw in the rest of it and its one of my favorite breakfast treats. I do the same with honeydew and watermellon.

Since it's really easy to get full on these phytochemical shakes you will want to maximize the value each time. You don't want to get full on just fillers and watery foods. Make sure you blend the stalks and not just the green part of the brocolli.. A juicer won't even do close what a blender can do with brocolli. If your body can only handle 12 or 24 ounces of shake at a time until you are full you should make sure you put the higher value foods in the blender before adding the lesser value foods. What I personally mean by lesser value are the foods with too high of volume with less phytochemicals. (Man... I am so angry at stores that tell people to buy juicers...If anyone wants to argue that juicing is better than a blender then call me.. I am up for an arguement any day of the week)

The most important thing of all about blending smoothies: If your digestive system is plaqued over...it doesn't matter how many smoothies you drink. I can drink 1 cup of the same smoothie that most people would have to drink nearly 4 cups to get the nutrients that I get. I have cultivated 3 to 5 lbs of aerobic bacteria in my colon. The bacteria I have are meaner and devour all the bad anaerobic bacteria. You cannot just go to the health food store and buy something to make this happen. I believe cultivating the 3 to 5 lbs of active cultures in your body is just as important as blending. Not that many people teach this. It is hard to help those who want the quick fix.  Also, concerning meat. If one is to go vegan, they might want to eat the active cultures analgous to the bugs they would naturally eat that is on the greens in nature. All of our food is so, so clean that we do not get the beneficial bacteria. I am not saying to eat bugs either. The difference between having the 3 to 5 lbs of anaerobic bacteria in your body can make the difference between catching a cold or not catching it and probably any other concern you might be worried about. I've found that once people have the 3 to 5 lbs of this in your body...they don't gain 5 lbs but actually can lose the edema and plaque in their body. This plaque can look nasty...almost like the texture of a rubber band. (This has nothing to do with the colon or getting colonics or taking enemas

  • Since my ecology is well, I am attracted to nutrient dense foods that naturally tend to be raw. For me, the key to the whole blending philosophy is ABSORBANCY.  Building my ecology was the easist thing to do. It takes no discipline. It is not a diet either. It is not a lifestyle change. My body is at its natural weight, not by excercise but by building the aerobic cultures in my body. Most people that are malabsorbant gain weight & they usually are the one that try the different diets and are the ones that eat so little and they turn all their blood sugar into fat
  • My body ecology guides me like a compass. I do not have to think to make a decision to eat healthy nor do I have to have any discipline. As my body ecology is continuously rejuvinated I have no desire to eat junk foods nor have any cravings for foods that are bad for me. I do not have to make a concious choice to not to eat something that is bad for me...I simply am turned off by it...but if I did eat it my digestion is so strong that it would have hardly any effect on me.
    Note: As a symbiotic rawfoodist... I personally would never try to eat healthier or change my diet. I eat whatever I want and I do NOT believe in trying to eat healthy and revise my diet. I think it is crazy that people are trying to eat healthier and exercising to lose weight. Animals in nature don't have to workout to lose weight or stay in shape. I try to stay as far away from the gym as possible and to stay healthy, exercise is the last thing I would ever do. I would not waste my valuable energy. I am probably the fittest person you would ever meet. I don't diet or excercise nor take any diet pills. I try to live as close to nature as possible. I try to drink as little water as possible, none if I am lucky. I don't believe it is natural to drink water. I have never seen animals in nature drink water like we do. I never try to tell anyone to change their diet. The more someone tries to eat healthy the unhealthier they will be. I also feel sorry for all the people going to gyms.. If there were no gyms people would be much healthier.
