What she was getting, was a woman sitting on a beach in a wedding dress.
Piper Halliwell had been on this godforsaken island for a grand total of three days. Three. Her throat was sore from both coughing up water and shouting for her whitelighter-slash-almost husband-slash-man she left at the altar. And really, she could understand him not coming the first few times she called. He was probably angry. She had called off the wedding they thought would never happen, the one that they fought so hard for, because her sister astral projected her way out of there on a motor cycle.
It was stupid. She knew that now. That didn't change the fact that she was here, stuck on this godforsaken island with no way of getting home. If she was looking for a sign? This would be the one she should have considered.
And now there were strange blond women washing up on shore. Great. Just what her day needed. She sighed, before pushing herself up and making her way down to the surf and extending a hand to the blond.
"If it's a doctor you're looking for, I think he's a few tents down."
It took her a moment to find the voice, but when her eyes landed on the girl in the wedding dress she paused. Such a sight might normally bring up questions, but not only was Rose distracted, she'd also seen a lot stranger things. She ccouldn't be sure where she was, what planet or time, so she was on guard.
She tried to get to her feet and stumbled a bit again. "The Doctor's here?" She looked down several tents, trying to find that familiar face, only to remember she had to look for another face then.
Piper frowned. The 'the' on that sentence sounded pretty specific, so she ... probably wasn't thinking of the person Piper was thinking of, but she was hoping she was at least close.
Her head shook and she looked over at the woman again. "No. No...I.." No, that wasn't right. She looked at her surroundings again and pushed her hair out of her face.
"You're on an island," she sighed. "It ... kidnaps people and drops them here. Or at least that's the story they're feeding me." It's clear that Piper didn't think there was no way out, but she could only do so much as one witch. She needed Prue and Phoebe to make any kind of a real splash, and well ... she kept hoping that they didn't show up here.
Rose just nodded, only half-listening. She was scanning the horizon of the ocean for the Doctor. Surely he couldn't be too far behind...could he?
"Have you seen a-a-..." She trailed off. She had only seen the Doctor's new face for a moment, how could she explain it? "Did you see a man come out before me?"
Piper frowned before shaking her head. "No, I'm sorry. There's just you. In fact, I think you're the first person to get here since I arrived three days ago."
"He'll be here." She nodded, certain of the fact. Her hands rested on her hips as she gazed out a moment longer, then she turned to Piper. "I can wait."
She moved over and sat beside her. Maybe not completely with it at the moment, but she was trying to be. She sat down and watched the ocean expectantly.
"What planet is this then?" Not the more important question of why are you in a wedding dress? or what do you mean this island kidnapped me?.
Rose glanced over at that and closed her eyes for a moment. Her lips turned up into a soft, amused smile. "Right, no. Sorry. Not sure where my head's at." She looked at Piper again. "Would I be mental for askin' what the year is?"

If this was another planet, she was really going to have to reevaluate her strategy.
