cereta started a meme on "ten things you probably know already about me," and I did it - ten things that people who had been reading my journal for a long time had probably figured out, that I sort of assume everybody knows and therefore don't spend any time explaining, but that new friends might not yet know. It's like reading stories written by someone whose English is very poor (and who doesn't get them beta-read by someone with a better grasp of the language). Yes, of course I understand that I can't hold that writer to the same writing standards as someone for whom English is the native tongue. But the effect is the same, so I choose not to read such stories.

Poor you! I think if I had to deal with people in my daily work I'd probably get fired. :-)
