Okay, so I fail at staying away from lj. Still! I crossed five whole items off my to-do list yesterday! And I hope to accomplish at least three more today! (Setting my expectations low, here. You do not want to know how long the list is.)
According to our local newspaper, Wednesday was "International Walk to School in the U.S.A. Day." *cries*
This is probably just amusing to me, but I was nosing around del.icio.us and discovered that Top 100 Undiscovered Web Sites was bookmarked by 930 people. (Maybe I'm amused because I was recently thinking about the list of top stupid questions at Mesa Verde National Park, which includes, "How many undiscovered ruins are there?")
And, this year's Ig Nobel prizes have been awarded!
I have the nagging feeling that my journal has become terribly boring. I'm sorry about that. Um, Ray Kowalski! And Ray Vecchio! Feeling each other up while Fraser watches, wide-eyed and hopelessly turned-on!
Actually, I want to post about SGA, but I think I'll wait until after I've seen 4x02. I also am thinking about updating my ten things I assume you know about me post (as cereta and cathexys have done recently) because wow, two years have gone by and a lot has changed. ("For example, I'm devouring Due South fanfic - but I've only seen one and a half episodes, and I'm not planning on watching them all." You may mock me at your leisure.) And I am toying with posting my unpopular fannish opinions, although I warn you, I am not kidding about them being unpopular. Maybe you should just defriend me now and avoid the rush.
