Mionel creeps the hell out of me, but I have to admit they do have genuine chemistry and facets of that relationship that I've been truly fascinated with. I'd definitely draw a parallel between Martha/Lionel and Lois/Lex, Martha and Lois both have in common in the sense that they came from a cutthroat, worldly background (Martha's dad being a corporate shark, herself having read law, and Lois' dad being an army general and herself who had seen the world since she was kid) and that kind of personality meshes with the likes of the Luthors'.

And yay for Kara! :D While losing an entire homeworld that you've never known and the knowledge that your parents have sent you away because they love you so much is pain enough, Kara's hurt is sharper because she actually has grown up on Krypton, she knows her home and everything and everyone there.

And I've always had a weakness for guys just quietly watching the girl they love sleeping, a kiss on the forehead is icing on the cake. :D

Oh, yes! What a great parallel! I think it's apt. I wish we got more Lois/Lex on Smallville. *sigh*

*nods* Yep. Totally. Also, she's always striving to fit in, to be useful and other heroes (especially, Clark unfortunately) are often oblivious. I've especially enjoyed her relationships with Cassie, Hal and the Bats. :)

Isn't it just so sweet?! Aww.

I think Clark is very much aware of her wanting to fit in, but he simply doesn't know how to go about it, he's constantly worrying that he'll just push her away if he tries to get her to open up to him. And Kara does know that he loves her very much, but she also couldn't bring herself to confide in him every time.

And I just find it kind of funny that Kara usually goes to Bruce or Diana first to talk about stuff, Clark is almost always the last person to know what she's up to, lol.

Not to worry! The meme has nothing to do with promptness! ^_^
1. I found it to be an interesting side-relationship, but I do understand the logic behind cutting those two characters out. The main kids of the show are adults now, and adults don't always have those older folks to go to. They gotta get outta the messes on their own.

2. Awwww... not only the icon, but your description of Clark and Lois's relationship. Just awwww!

3. Ah, yes. Lonely Kara. I may get back into her title at some point, but the current writer and artist don't quite jive with me.

4. You've actually made me look at that entire storyline with more depth, and I already enjoyed it immensely. Props to ya!

*wipes brow* Whew!

1. *nods* Yep. It makes sense they're gone now. I'm not particularly sad about that. I really like the 'Metropolis' feel the show is moving towards.

2. :)

3. Oh, I'm sad about that. I've really enjoyed Puckett's run and usually like the art fairly well, too, especially facial expressions and body language. I hope the next creative team works for you. I'm looking forward to seeing the crossover between Supergirl, Johns' Action, and Robinson's Superman.

4. Thanks! *blushes* Glad that ramble made sense to you.

:)
