I spent New Years' at Corfe Castle which is this lovely little touristy village down on the coast, which was quite nice. My family go there a lot because we know people who have a holiday home there, so yeah we went and saw the castle and walked around and watched the fireworks on Big Ben, which seemed slightly pointless in my opinion. Probably the last visit to Amy's house before she heads off to the jolly emerald isle. We made an... interesting sponge cake which I... broke... Anyway, it tasted good. On the way back to my house they closed Victoria Station because of a security alert. There was only one exit open and I had to take a very long detour to get home.

You know the guy who got shot in Stockwell Station? Well, it turns out, he was innocent. The undercover police saw him coming out of a block of flats that they had under surveillance and I think must have decided to follow him because the followed him into a tube station and ordered him to stop.
