Ireland was okay. We stayed in a village called Quilty for the first week, which I thought was adorably cute. It rained a lot. Like, a lot a lot. So i spent a lot of time inside reading and watching series 2 of Father Ted. Which was pretty nice actually. Today was very much a Good Day. Since I've only got three important exams left (plus fifty jillion unimportant internal exams) there are slowly more and more lessons where we just sit around doing absolutely nothing. Watched Gattaca in RE which was love because of Ethan Hawke and Jude Law. Plus the depressing ending.

My French oral was without a doubt the worst exam I've ever had the misfortune to go through. I do feel sorry for Mme. Dean - she was trying to ask me more questions so I could work up my marks but somehow my mind blanked and all the French I've ever been taught went out of my head. Bank holiday Mondays are GOD. So we went down to Brighton - the one place in the whole of south-east England that wasn't hit by a monsoon. So much fun, we hit the beach and Sian went paddling. I'm currently sitting here with my face smeared with chocolate sauce from dinner, trying to accurately translate Fruits Basket 10 from French. Luckily, I have my dad on hand to help me with the Dreaded Irregular and Reflexive Verbs. I'm also relying on Maria's dictionary which has many confusing defenitions.
