I've got no motivation

SRSLY LOLZ.

This year I am actually less motivated than last year, if that's even possible. About three of the nine subjects I'm taken have competant teachers. Double Physics with Higgie is now a sort of routine lesson in how to resist stabbing yourself in the eye with a pencil to relieve boredom. I don't get it. At the beginning of the year I was told that I was really lucky to have him teach me. He's actually one of the most boring teachers I've ever had in my life. Of course, the new GCSE course hardly helps.

I'm finding it rather hard to type as one of cats is hugging my wrist.

Okay, so what's going on in my life at the moment...?

I finished reading Moab is My Washpot by Stephen Fry yesterday. I laughed so hard at some parts - I wish I'd known his as a teenager, he sounded brilliant - but some bits were just so depressing... I'm now utterly exhausted since I was up until midnight last night reading Holly Black's Ironside. Lovely lovely lovely book. I have decided that I want Corny to be my BFF. Along with Haulden Caulfield from Catcher in the Rye.

More prom talk: I really don't care what music the DJ plays, as long as he plays Don't Stop Me Now, School's Out For Summer, and Another Brick in the Wall. And all those crappy 90s classics that I grew up with.

I learned to play the bass today. :D

& then cried inwardly at my own musical incompetance. I hate being best friends with the best fricking musicians in my year. And the smartest people. And the most artistic people. Bleh.

physics, books, rant, school, friends, music, angst
