So... the long weekend.
Okay, so on Saturday Amy and I were planning on going to the Music Against Racism thing in Trafalgar Square which we... kind of didn't do. Yeah. But Saturday was nice and relaxing and so was Sunday, when I pretended to revise.
And then today the family and I all trooped down to Kent to go and see Leeds Castle, which is supposed to be the most beautiful castle in the world. It's pretty, but I think Neuschwanstein is probably better. Anyway, in the castle they seem to like birds. We saw a big white peacock which was incredible and pretty with all these downy feathers and stuff... And they had an aviary with a talking parrot, but all he could say was, "'ello". I was trying to teach him to say 'Norweigan blue - lovely plumage' but it didn't work. And then we saw this falconry demonstration but the falcon flew off in the middle of it.
The maze in the castle is really uber cool! 'Cept it was full of weird French students. But anyway, in the middle there's this big mound which you can climb to the top of, of you can go into this grotto which leads out again and the grotto is full of carvings and stuff made out of seashells.
So, now I'm home and, after five minutes of revision, have given up. I think I'll go watch The Mask of Zorro.
