33 out of 100 isn't bad! Most of them are on the reading list my school's given me for over to summer, so hopefully I'll be able to bring that number up. :)
Went and saw Prince Caspian which was very enjoyable, though not as good by a long shot as The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe...
Eddie Izzard as Reepicheep was INSPIRED. That mouse was so my favourite character when I first read those books when I was six. The plot was tweaked around quite a lot, but in an acceptable. Peter has become prettier, although I still find it hard to listen to his ridiculously camp public school accent. Oh, and I HATED the love interest subplot with Susan and Caspian. HATED IT. It's just so... wrong. You can't just insert love interest whenever you feel like it! (Although we did have great fun in the cinema making jokes about the perceived blatant sexual tension between Caspian and Peter.) Oh, and I am mucho disappointed that there was no scene from the book when Aslan wakes the nyads and dryads up, and they run through the streets with Bacchus and his wild girls and do magic. But anyway, much fun was had.
And then I slept over in
bluegreygold's sitting room and stayed up until 5:30 in the morning watching Brokeback Mountain (and cried again) and This is England (which was incredible and terrifying at the same time) and Skins (which features many pretty people).
However, I did miss Heroes which I have discovered you cannot get on BBC iPlayer! So if anyone knows anywhere I can watch it online, that would be much appreciated. :)
