Does anyone know a good cure for a sore throat that I can make out of stuff in my kitchen? I've heard about lemon-and-honey, but does that actually mean I just get lemon and honey?
Currently making my way through Tennyson's Idylls of the King. Books entirely made up of poetry scare me. Tennyson appear to have tweaked the story somewhat also.
I'm on the hunt for some decent jazz. I can't say I know much about the whole jazz-scene, except that I like a lot of it. But really my main knowledge of jazz comes from Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman. And lots of people say they don't count. So can someone enlighten me as to who does?
I'm a-watching House tonight. YAY! :D
All my energy at the moment is being taken up by repressing this little bubble of panic inside me that I'm going to fail all of my GCSEs due to the fact that I KNOW NOTHING. NOTHING AT ALL. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE MATHS COURSE. THE SCIENCE IS EVIL. I DON'T FUNCTION IN EXAMS. I CAN'T SPEAK SPANISH. And it hardly helps that teachers are all going, "Your end-of-year celebrations are going to be great fun, we're planning on doing such-and-such. But to get there you have to WORK. WORK LIKE YOU'VE NEVER WORKED BEFORE. YOU CAN'T USE STRESS AS AN EXCUSE GIRLS, BECAUSE GUESS WHAT? THIS IS HOW STRESSED YOU ARE GOING TO FEEL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIVES."
Oh, also I don't get to take my art lessons at Westminster. :(
