December was the flu-like bug for all. January was HRH in hospital with the throwing up blood. Jan-Feb was norovirus for the boys. The theme we went with for this years seasonal celebrations was 'illness'. The flu-like thing hit us a few weeks before Christmas so I was dragging myself around while trying to look after the others. The eldest's school website has had a new entry on it for a while about 'cashless catering'. Fair enough, thought I, swipe cards are in use for stuff like this in lots of places and it also gives us the opportunity to pay for school trips and the like via the system. Following on from Tuesday's CBeebies segment, yesterday saw them mention the 80's (so I can only assume the 'grandparents' comment was aimed at the 70's, which is somewhat bizarre).
