Blah, I've been bored and nothing much to do, so I guess I should post. Make people happy ^_^;
Let's see, this last couple of weeks...
I saw New Moon with "new" friend, Kat (from otakumex). Enjoyed it much more than the first one. Taylor... *sigh* makes fan girls out of all, including me. And no, I haven't changed teams. I'm still Team Seth, or Team Belmont depending on time of day you ask me. There were a few things I missed from the book, but over all the Director, Chris Weitz, did an amazing job. I really miss the scene right after Italy but before "The Vote", 'cause Bella is just too funny in that scene from the book... and the ending could have been better. I never really like movies that end with cliffhangers, but the end of the book was rather cheesy. Well see how the next director does with Eclipse.
Went to a craft fair with mom, Jen, and aunt Deb. Enjoyed myself quite a bit, saw lots of pretty shiney things, but with no money all I did was drool. The exciting thing was that I found the shoulder dragon lady again!! It made me uber happy, and I pleaded until my mom bought me another one. I'm pretty sure my new lady is my X-mas presant, which is perfectly fine with me. The vendor also gave me some tips to repair Duke.
I also got to meet a couple local authors and got to talk with them a while. They gave me some good tips for writing and invited me to join the SW-writer's group. I'm gonna have to try and remember to attend meetings and such. It was so refreshing to meet someone who doesn't look at me funny when I describe my Li. Normally, people look at me funny and laugh, but these gentlemen just kinda grinned and said that he reminds me of one or two editors they've met. XD too funny.
Other than that, pretty quiet. Been doing a bit of knitting, trying to decide what to /make/ people for the holidays. I've got my list, now I just need supplies. Thank god Black Friday is soon!! I will descend upon Jo-Ann's like a harpy....or a Valkyrie... or some other flying mythical beast.... *snerk*
