Youth for 2010
The article I just read is about the youth being the hope of the nation was written by Ms. Cristyl Mae Senajon entitled “Youth for 2010” for the Manila Times. It gave concrete examples of how we can do this together. It is not enough that we only vote. We have to find a suitable candidate, promote, and give our time.
I believe it may be just about time to finally step up in this country and do something significant, something large in scale. My friend said before in a comment in my previous entry that it might not seem like something big but it will make a difference someday. I take comfort in the fact that a lot of people, specially my generation, are concerned about the country’s well being. And if we take an effort to realize that we are capable of igniting change then this ideal might not seem that far-fetched after all.
Collectively, we can ignite and inspire change.
