"I like you. Please go out with me."
"Ok! That's a wrap! Nice work Nakajima-kun, Yamada-san." The director praised the two actors on set and they both gave a bow and a smile.
"Arigatou gozaimasu." Ryosuke said in a soft voice with hercheeks tinted pink.
"Ryo-chan, it's time to go." Yuri said to him while showing him the time. It has already been a week since they started filming and Ryosuke is still ajusting to this new type of work. He became more concious of his surroundings. Afraid that someone might notice his true identity. But one thing was good about his week. He became more close to Yuto somehow. No matter how shy he is, there would always be a conservation between them. Well, Yuto does most of the talking but that doesn't mean the shorter doesn't respond. He even likes hearing Yuto's voice and he loves seeing his smile plastered on his face.
"Then you have an interview with Nakajima-kun at 9. Ryosuke, are you listening?" Yuri put down the paper and rolled the sheets and smacked it on Ryosuke's head.
"Itai na~! That hurt Chii." Ryosuke pouted like a girl. Guess his acting like a girl rubbed off on him turning him into one.
"Well, I wouldn't had to hit you if you just paid attention." They were inside Hikaru's private car and he was taking the two of them home.
"What were you thinking about anyway?" Yuri scootedcloser to Ryosuke trying to stare at his face, then he smiled.
"You are thinking about Nakajima-kun, aren't you?" Yuri gave a sheepish grin and Ryosuke pushed back to his side of the car.
"Of course not! Why would I?!" His face was denying everything he said. His cheeks were tinted pink and it was turning to bright red every second.
"Just say you like him already. The more you deny, the more you'll fall for him." Yuri explained to him. The teasing smile was still plastered on his lips.
"I don't like Yuto-kun... that much." He said the last part in a whisper but loud enough for Yuri and Hikaru's eyes to widen.
"So you do like him!" Yuri grabbed Ryosuke's shoulder and started shaking him back and forth.
"Just a simple admiration. That's all." He managed to stop Yuri from making him throw up his dinner but he couldn't stop the glow on his cheeks. And his heart beat was beating fast just by saying Yuto's name.
"Omedeato Ryosuke." Hikaru said while looking in the mirror. His eyebrows were moving up and down and he showed that toothy grin of his.
"Stop it already. The more you tease, the more my heart feels like exploding." He admitted and it cause an even bigger uproar in the car even though there were only three of them. After 10 minutes they arrived at Ryosuke's home and he gave out a big sigh of relief.
"I'll pick you up at 8, okay." Hikaru said as Ryosuke was going out of the car.
"Un. Arigatou Hikaru-kun. Be careful when driving!" He said his goodbye and the car sped ahead.
"Mou~! Why am I feeling this way?! It has only been a week since I met Yuto-kun. I can't fall inlove this easily." Ryosuke kept on debating in his mind his feelings for Yuto. He was soaking in the bath trying to relax his aching muscles especially his feet which were going numb from wearing those heels all week.
"It's maybe because Yuto-kun is so handsome that I feel this way. I mean any girl can be swoon by his good looks. But then again I'm a guy!" He was really trying to persuade himself that he doesn't have a crush on Yuto but there was something that was making him even more confused. It was already the next day and this was still all he could think of.
"What are you thinking about Yama-chan?" Kei was asking him as he was getting Ryosuke into his character.
"Ne, Inoo-kyun what is love?" Ryosuke suddenly asked. He wanted to figure out his feelings as soon as possible. He doesn't like the uncomfortable feeling in his heart.
"This is about Nakajima-kun isn't it." Kei gave a teasing smile with a matching tone in his voice.
"Un." Ryosuke just suddenly answered. He may be shy but he has been feeling uncomfortable for quite some time now. If he doesn't give the proper respond, then how would he know what is really going on? And besides Kei has a trustworthy aura around him. Ryosuke doesn't know anyone better to this to than Kei.
"Well, if you ask me, love is warm, fluttery feeling in your heart. It makes you nervous but at the same time relaxed. It makes you worried but at the same time relieved. Love is like finding comfort in someone but is quite uncomfortable when you are with them." Kei was explaining but if you look at Ryosuke's reaction it looks like it got even more complicated.
"Inoo-kyun, I became more confused." Ryosuke was like a little kid experiencing his first love. It was sorta cute and at the same time amusing.
"You'll know what I mean when the time comes. Now hurry up and get dressed, You have an interview at 9." Kei pushed him inside the dressing room where in his clothes were already there for him to wear.
"But how will I know that it is already time?" He went out the dressing room and turned his back to Kei for him to zip up the dress. Kei fixed his wig and made him wear some accessories and his shoes.
"You will know when it comes. Just be patient and wait." Kei was assuring him that nothing wrong will happen. He made Ryosuke twirl once and then gave a thumbs up.
"But I can't wait anymore! I mean-"
"Ryo-chan, you done?" Yuto popped in the room. He was very handsome with his casual clothes one.
"U-un." Just seeing Yuto made his heart beat very fast. He was nervous just standing in the same room as Yuto.
"Good. Hikaru and Chinen are already waiting for us outside. Ikou?" Yuto asked as he extended his arm out.
"U-un." He was shaking but it wasn't that obvious. He linked his arm with Yuto's and they proceeded to exit the building after they said goodbye to Kei.
"It's your first interview. Ganbatte ne." Yuto showed him his killer smile which just gave Ryosuke goose bumbs all over. He was really nervous holding onto Yuto like this but he felt at ease with him. Like it is just a normal thing to do. He was tensed yet relaxed.
"Yuri, there are a lot of people in the audiece and a lot of cameras." Ryosuke was complaining to his manager. Yuri just rubbed the bridge of his nose, trying to let off steam.
"We already talked about this. You will be fine. Yuto is there. He'll be with you and help you until the end." Yuri assured him.
"But that's the reason! Yuto is there! I don't know if I'll be able to breathe properly." Yuri showed him the same look Kei gave to him earlier. It had a hint of teasing and mischief.
"So you admit it that you do like Yuto-kun?" Chinenr asked and Ryosuke had his eyes widen.
"What are you saying Chii?! Stop making up stories. It's not funny." Ryosuke was blushing so hard that he didn't need blush on to color his cheeks.
"All I'm saying is the truth. Now go before you get even more confused." Yuri pushed him towards Yuto's back and he successfully made Ryosuke bump into Yuto.
"Gomen ne Yuto-kun."
"It's okay. It was actually great that you bumped into me. 5 minutes until we are on." Yuto looked at Ryosuke and he was shaking.
"Ne, daijoubo?" He asked him.
"Eh? U-un?" Ryosuke responded but of course no one will buy it especially Yuto who has been with him all the time.
"I know you're lying."
"What if I mess up and end up paralyzed on TV?! What if I can't answer the question?!" A lot of 'what if's' were being said by Ryosuke. But instead of annoying, Yuto found it cute. Ryosuke stopped his rant when he heard and felt Yuto chuckling.
"Mou~ Yuto-kun! It's not funny." He pouted which was again found cute by Yuto.
"Can't help it Ryo-chan. You are just to cute." He gave him a smile and who would not melt with that smile? Ryosuke was almost a puddle because of it!
"Don't worry Ryo-chan! I am here. I promise, I won't let an embarrassment come out of you." Yuto held his hand and gave it a light squeeze. Ryosuke's heart as still beating fast but his mind was at ease. He trusts Yuto. He feels relief around him yet he is worried about a lot of things. Especially in sorting out his feelings.
"Yamada-san, Nakajima-san you're on." A staff told them. Without letting go of Ryosuke's hand, they both entered the set and because it was Ryosuke's first time being on camera, he tried his best to ajust to his surroundings.
A camera here, 2 more cameras in front and one moving around. Lights were surrounding them and the one that Ryosuke fears the most, a live audience.
"Konichiwa, Yamada-san, Nakajima-san. Please take a seat." They sat down on a love seat and the interviewer was sitting across them.
"Konichiwa." Yuto greeted back and Ryosuke just gave a small nod.
"It really is true ne." The interviewer stated.
"About what?"
"Yamada-san doesn't talk." Wow. They never expected that he would be this straight forward. Well, Ryosuke didn't but since Yuto is in show business for 5 years already and he has been invited in this show 3 times already we can say Ryosuke is in good hands.
"It's not that she doesn't talk. Just a little shy." Yuto wrapped an arm around Ryosuke and he was totally surprised.
"Is that true Yamada-san?"
"U-un." His cheeks were tinted red and the audience gave response. Some went 'aww' others said 'kawaii!'.
"Well then let's jump back to topic." The interviewer shuffled some notes on his hands and read a question.
"Nakajima-san, could you please tell what this drama is all about?"
"Well for starters, the story revolves around a girl and a boy. This may sound cliche but they were childhood friends and they do everything together but one day the girl just suddenly left without telling the boy or even leaving him something behind. She just disppered like a bubble vanishing into thin air. And Then... That's all I'm gonna tell you." The audience was disappointed with Yuto's cliff hanger but they knew what it was for.
"Okay Mr. Smarty Pants, we just have to watch and see what happens next right?"
"Sou dayo ne." Yuto was showing a very wide smile giving off a mysterious vibe around.
"Yamada-san?" Ryosuke looked at the interviewer as his name was called.
"Can you tell us your role in the drama?" Ryosuke didn't know what to say. He was thinking of a lot of things right now. Even Yuto's hand on his waist was making him slightly uncomfortable.
"She plays as-"
"Sawada Emiko." Yuto faced her and she was lookng straight into a camera which was facing her.
"It's now or never Ryosuke." he said in his mind. Ryosuke took a deep breathe and let it all out.
"I play as Sawada Emiko. I'am Fuuta-kun's classmate. Kirizaki Fuuta-kun is Yuto-kun. We sit beside each other in the classroom but Fuuta-kun never actually talks to me. Fuuta-kun is always cold and distant while Emiko has a really out going personality and makes friends with everyone. And because of that her goal was to be Fuuta-kun's friend before the end of the year." Ryosuke realized that the whole studio went quiet so she also joined in.
"Kawaii!!!!" The audience screamed! They never knew Ryosuke was that cute when he talked. He might have not noticed but as he was talking earlier everyone was looking at him. His eyes were full of hapiness and joy while he was talking. His voice was cute and sweet and it was pleasant to hear.
"I didn't imagine you setting up this kind of vibe Yamada-san! You are very pleasing to have!" The praise Ryosuke received was very overwhelming. She looked up at Yuto and he was showing him a loving smile. He patted his head showing him how proud he was then gave her a small hug.
"We should invite you to this show more often."
"Hontou? Arigatou na~." Ryosuke showed them a cute smile which caused another uproar in the studio.
The interview continued on for about 30 more minutes. Ryosuke and Yuto were taking turns in answering all of the questions but then the final question came and they were both quiet about it.
"For you. What is Love?" The audience had different reactions to the question. The two of them looked at each other with a pleading look like 'please answer the question'.
"Um. Nakajima-san? Yamda-san? Are you still with us?"
"H-hai." They both stuttered. The interviewer gave them a nod and asked the question once again.
"Well Love... Love is a warm, fluttery feeling in your heart." Yuto started off saying. Ryosuke's eyes widened. It feels like he has heard it before and it is still engraved in his mind and in his heart.
"It makes you nervous but at the same time relaxed. Ryosuke answered as well. This time it was Yuto who had his eyes widened and his expression was shocked but he still continued on.
"It makes you worried but at the same time relieved." Yuto continued on. He looked at Ryosuke and he felt his gaze into him. He wanted to ask why yuto was looking at him but he ended up looking into his black orbs like he was being sucked in.
"And Love is finding comfort." Ryosuke said but never taking his eyes off Yuto's.
"But you are quite uncomfortable when you are with them." Yuto finished it off. They didn't mind the audience anymore. They didn't care what was happening in the world right now. All that they know is that they can't part from this person they are looking at. Cheers could just be then heard from the crowd. They didn't know how but they were already back stage with Yuri and Hikaru.
"Yama-chan! I am so proud of you!!!" Hikaru gave him a bear hug and twirled her around.
"Arigatou Hikaru-kun." Ryosuke managed to stand on his feet and stopped his vision from spinning. Hikaru then also congratulated Yuto for a job well done.
"You really made me proud Ryo-chan." Yuri came up to him next and showed him a very warm smile. ryosuke didn't know why but he felt really really happy about that and produced tears.
"Yuri! Arigatou!" This time it was ryosuke who gave Yuri a bear hug and at the same time he was crying on Yuri's shoulder.
"Hey, don't cry. Inoo-chan will get mad if you ruin your make-up." Yuri said but Ryosuke just cried harder and kept on saying Thank you to Yuri. Of course Yuri was overwhelmed but he didn't want to cry in front of them.
Ryosuke and Yuri were already going home with hikaru drving them. Yuri was sitting shotgun while ryosuke was at the back. Yuto went back to the agency because he said he forgot something.
"Ne Yuri. I want to tell you something." Ryosuke leaned forward in between of him and Hikaru and in a soft voice he said
"I think I'm inlove." Hikaru and Yuri just gave each other a look then returned back to what they were doing. Ryosuke was looking down while Yuri just patted him head.
"Daijoubo Ryo. Daijoubo. Yuri assured him.
Back to the agency, Yuto was walikng towards the dressing room and found Kei arranging Ryosuke clothes.
"Inoo-chan?" He called his attention.
"Oh. Yuto. Did you forget something?" Kei asked and Yuto nodded his head.
"What was it?" Kei looked around trying to figure out what Yuto left behind.
"Thank you." Yuto just suddenly said.
"Eh? Found it already?"
"No. Thank you for the advice."
"Oh that! No problem Yuto." Kei patted his shoulder telling him that he will always be there for him like he is always there for Ryosuke. Like a mother is to her children.
"And Inoo-chan."
"Yes?"
"I think I'm inlove." Yuto said. Kei was not shocked at what he said. He was even quite happy.
"I know Yuto. I know."
