In the most recent issue of The Believer there is a peice called "Fat Fiction", by Rachel Aviv.
Perhaps you've read it. Well it touches on a subject I happen to rant quite often about.
The portrayal of us fatties, this time in literature.
While the peice itself did not really run hot or cold, not really taking a stand on the chubby or non chubby side of the fence, it did bring to the forefront of my mind what you've heard me rant about countless times before. It also made me pose a handful or so of questions...
Is being fat WRONG?
Is FAT a dirty word?
Is FAT ever beautiful?
Can FAT be loved?
Does someone who IS fat, make a choice to be that way,or are we just born fluffy?
I want to know what YOU think.
