As some of you may or may not know...
My mom has been battling cancer for about 4 years now.
It began as Breast Cancer, she had a masectomy and went through about 6 months of chemo. They put her on Femara and we thought we were in the clear, my entire family breathed a sigh of relief. About a year later we found out it spread to her bones. She's been receiving hormone therapies in some shape or form ever since, and began chemo yet again in February. Now it's in her skull, cervical and lumbar spine, both her hips and her leg.
Due to some changes in her Health Insurance Policy only a percentage of her bills are being covered by our carrier and she needs treatment on a WEEKLY basis, as well as periodic diagnostic testing, prescription medication and so on.
