So I'm kind of on a happy high right now...
I walked past the video store today and did a double take over the 'CLOSING DOWN' signs. Then realised they were selling off EVERYTHING. So even though I was already sort of late, I ducked in to have a look. I uh...may or may not have come back out with...seventeen dvds???
Yeah, just a little crazy here.
BUT OH MY GOD I FOUND TEN INCH HERO. I NEVER EXPECTED TO FIND THAT FIRSTLY IN AUSTRALIA AND SECONDLY IN MY LOCAL VIDEO STORE AND THIRDLY FOR SALE. ZOMG!
When I saw it, I literally put down everything I was holding (there was quite a stack already by this time..) and made a beeline for it. And yes, I saw Priestly's hair (and Jensen. *g* ) first. Not the title. So much for visual hierarchy, huh.
The other things I got were...
Friday the 13th. Yes, the version with Jared in it. Heh..(was also very surprised to see this. Oh well, MINE NOW.)
De-Lovely. Well, nobody else is going to buy it...are they? And...I like it..
Camelot. Yes. The musical one I rambled about late last year. It is awesome even in all it's crappy strangeness. And RICHARD HARRIS AS ARTHUR SINGING TOTALLY VALIDATES DUMBELODORE/MERLIN AS A PAIRING. YES. YES IT DOES.
Merlin's Apprentice. Because if you haven't realised my Arthuiran obsession by now...
First Knight. See reason above. In fact, if I hadn't been running late, I would have scoured the shelves for all of the Arthurian ones. I think I might go back tomorrow and do it. :D
Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The Movie. Uh...Yeah, can't explain.
The three Matrix movies. Because.
All of FIrefly. Because.
And...season 8 of Charmed (because I didn't have it already)
I decided to just leave with that after I looked at the rest of the TV section and briefly entertained the thought of buying up Gilmore Girls or something.
Also, this was the first time I've ever been in that store and NOT seen two entire massive rows of Star Trek VIDEOS (that were on sale all the time if anyone wanted it anyway)
So that was my awesome day. And now I'm going to watch Supernatural. This should be interesting, even without the slight inebriation.
