Well, the car's gone. I'd be more sad about this, but it's been sitting in the driveway and being undrivable for so long that it was just starting to depress/irritate me. Bye, little car! We had a good run together.
My mother didn't get the job with Delta she was interviewing for. When she went to the interview in Atlanta, there was a roomful of women and the only ones picked were the ones in their twenties with no prior experience. Yeah, guys, don't choose the woman who used to work for the UN or the lady with twenty years of flight experience and CPR training. Well played there.
