However, he doesn't realize that the reason his Master told him that was to hint that he had this ability. Eh? [He's more surprised than offended that she stepped on his cards. He didn't see her. Where did she come from?]

[He gives his head a little shake. Some dust got stirred up when she walked by and a small breeze is blowing in his face. He doesn't initally look up until she's already moved to a less compromising position.] It's okay. I probably should have moved further out of the way. [Actually, he thought he had been out of the way, on the far side of the road like this. Still, he doesn't sweat the details and flashes a smile at her.]

[Allen smiles up at her.] No problem, no problem. Ah, thank you. [He accepts the cards back with a smile.] What were you reading that you got so caught up?

[He accepts the book.] Interesting title. What's it about?

It sounds very interesting. [He shakes her hand and hands her back the book.] Nice to meet you, Zexion. My name's Allen. [He's still sitting on the floor. He tucks his deck of cards away in an inside pocket on his coat.]

It's okay, really. I don't mind. I've had moments like that, too. And you didn't step on my hand, so no use worrying about something that didn't happen.

[He scratches his cheek, confused.] Um, the Crossroads last time I checked. [He doesn't realize that most people refer to it as the Crossraods because it is the Crossroads of dimensions.] Why? Are you lost?
