Today is primary elections in Kansas and Missouri. So that means I get to work late, not only to learn how it goes, but just in case things go wrong.
But mostly because I'm management and management is expected to be here on an election night.
I did get to come in to work late because of it, but I was still awake at 9 a.m. I finally went to the bank for some cash, got gas, and drove out to Barrington Park where we want to move. After that, I had a gyro at a shop down the street from the potential new residence and came into work.
There to be on the phone for almost two hours in a conference call. Then meeting and phone call and meeting again. All of which resulted in not much at all.
I'm waiting for pizza. I'm waiting for something to happen, because I'm bored out of my skull.
At the old job, I'd be getting paid overtime right now. But then again, at the JW my overtime wages would still be 3/4 of my current pay.
