So my priest wasn't in today...
I mean, I have no concrete evidence, but I suspect he might be gallivanting in Rome. Hahaha! As I said, I think he's with the "Italian Chorus" in Italy, but I haven't seen him in pictures they are posting, but then again, neither are the brothers pictured nor the chaperons. In addition, they posted a pic from Mass and it was a rando priest.
Mass... I thought I had seen this priest before, but before Mass started the cantor said, "Today's Mass will be presider over by"... So I guess he's new? Anyway, African, hard time understanding him, especially when he chanted. The deacon gave the homily. I only remember the end really... He quoted Pope Francis and said something like it's good to be happy, but true happiness is being the cause of happiness in others. He also mentioned something about prayer... Once again, I don't remember the exact wording. But if it doesn't transform you it's kinda like vain repetition. I mean... Yeah, in a sense, but no prayer is wasted.
Did my customary Post Mass tweets / gram / text and... Even when I'm laughing about it... Am I annoying people, esp family with my posts. Like is it eye rolling, do they just ignore it. Or are people like.. Crazybeth! I mean... Most of the time Tita E responds. Occasionally 7500centfish.
Lol... This father and daughter were sitting in front of us. And during Mass he's always explaining things to her, like how to do the cross before the gospel, etc. Anyway, during the sign of peace he turns around and offers Mom his hand to shake. She just waves. He turns to me and does the same. I shake his hand. I mean... I won't be using them. He then goes back to Mom again. HAHAHAHA!!! But yeah... I think maybe one other time some dude shook my hand, actually it was a woman. But I'm good with no sign of peace at all. So...
After Mass went to pick up meds. Mom went to "Rite Aid" to see if she had any meds. Uh... Got my bagels. Bagel sandwich. Went to Dunkin... I took a pic / took a menu for the empanada place. It also says they have Toxic Wings along with Nathans. I posted it to Fam Chat saying Mom wanted to try it one day. Tita E wants to try it as well. I guess the lunch special is do able. But dunner... 3 empanadas, rice and beans and plantains. Too much!
I had a cappuccino blast from Baskin Robins and... It mostly tasted like ice water...
I decided to continue to read Jesus of Nazareth through Lent (and Easter?) at my own pace. My lenten read I got is like a daily reader with a one page blurb. I will probably read that with my night prayer.
I texted Marna to verify if we were open tomorrow. Yes. She then said "they scheduled physicals". Uh... You could have closed it off like you said. I don't know why I'm so bitter about it now.
Doing online shopping again for my #prayerspace. cc 7500centfish kumquatqueen I got some felt board / pins / string to hang my prayer cards. I then have the St. Elizabeth poster which I need to get framed... Also thinking of getting a Lamb of God gold foil print. But I don't know if I want gold or rose gold. The pictures on the website aren't helping... Still looking for a Jesus looking into my soul icon / print.
I was about to close this entry, but the I watched this video, the Empty Chairs at Empty Tables portion and he says Michael Ball is his least favorite performer. WHAT!?!
