Mass this AM. It was Fr. P again. I think... Racist! Also the deacon. The only thing I can think of to say is when the deacon tried to chant the Our Father the priest was just speaking it and quickly. So... I had a hard time following the homily. He talked of the Holy Innocents and how with their short lives they were able to glorify God. How much more could we do by our lives.
I asked the Aunts later... Because tomorrow there is a funeral if their AM Mass ever coincides. It does not. If it does they have Mass in the lower chapel while the funeral is in the church proper. But... They have multiple priest so. We only have the 1. So... I don't know if it's kosher to attend Mass with a funeral going on. I mean... I don't know. There is that one guy from our church who I've seen at St. M's on Sat funerals because we don't have a Sat Mass. I guess I could go to other churches... Or I could sleep in.
As I said, they were coming today. They actually called before I left for church saying they were on their way, so... I thought I would have been able to make it back before they got here, but no...
Cemetery. We just visited the grents and co. Mom said we will visit Dad on Sunday.
Papa Benny is sick. Only 1 source says it is kidney failure. Others just ask for prayers. Mostly saying complications due to old age.
Mall. Browsed Macys a bit then found 7500centfish in an eye glass store. Went to Bloomies. I did not bring my gift cards. But then I have nothing to buy anyway. geebs was looking for a new jacket and shoes. He got neither... He did get shirts. Got my bubbletea. Pretty much went back to the other end and sat till lunch. Mom and 7500centfish went to her ear appt. Her hearing aids got wet, so she had them in rice for days, but then they still didn't work. Turns out she needed something replaced monthly. Like a wax trap or something.
We went to Red Lobster because the Aunts don't eat meat on Wednesday (and Fridays). geebs didn't seem too keen on it because he can't eat shellfish (?) and doesn't like calamari. He and I had a burger. I have been craving a burger and salad for weeks. But by then I was too full. I did finish my side salad.
7500centfish wants to go to some Filipino store tomorrow. Had no clue there was one so close. 7500centfish wants to clean out the ref. I need to pick up my meds.
