Texting takes too much energy...

Day 3 of crappy phone.  And...  It just takes too much to text, so I haven't been randomly texting 7500centfish that I'm cold, etc.  As I've said before...  I don't want a smartphone, but at the same time I'm too scared to buy a phone that may not work.  I don't really know.  I dunno...  Maybe I can somehow turn it into a dumbphone.  Like...  I don't even do things on my tablet, like buy things, enter my CC info and the like.  Maybe I can do the same?  Aside from calls there is no reason to use the cellphone at work when I have my tablet connected to the wifi.  I also listen to my music / podcast on it.  In other news...  I texted verizon a few times.  It gets to the point where they need to look up the acct info, but I'm not the holder so...  (cc kumquatqueen) I asked if there was anyway to tell if a basic phone is compatible with integrated messaging.  They asked if I had a phone in mind.  But then asked for the SIM card #.  I haven't bought it yet...  Still researching.  They mentioned the newer flip phone they added to their site.  I had seen someone on reddit mention...  At the time I though it wasn't great / it wasn't syncing correctly, but then I responded for clarification.  It's essentially like my previous phone.  Were I don't receive the messages I send on my tablet to my phone, but get everyone else's messages to the phone / tablet.  So...  I'm getting relieved.  But then I had my eye on a "brick" phone.  I was never a fan of flip phones and...  If I do stay with the basic phone, I'd get something other than the one they gave me for free.  Looking into a Sonim XP5...  The one on Amazon is like $150.  I don't know if I want to take the risk of it not working at the price.  In addition, in the fine print, even when it says it's verizon only, but also says there is no sim card.  Lower risk if I get it on ebay...  But still we're talking like $50.  And then I previously asked...  There is no fee at swapping phones that are essentially free.  Only if I get the Kyocera phone from their site is there any fee.  FYI, that one is like $240...

In other news...  I've been spending way too much recently.  I bought groceries, which is understandable.  I then had to buy face / hair stuff...  Mom asked for more groceries.  I bought some clothes / accessories for the APPNY party / parties in general.  I bought nail polish.  Gold flats, a cardigan...  And I haven't even thought of Christmas presents!  If anything I will get something for the kids / Aunts.  What that is I don't know...  Honestly I'm like so...  I'm on the verge of just cutting everyone a check.  1, out of laziness.  2...  Is it being received?  Why waste my time?

Oh yeah...  I was looking into lighting the path to the house.  I don't think solar powered would work...  I mean, when we had the ones in the driveway, when it rained it was pretty useless.  Who knows if enough light would make it onto the path to begin with.  I was then thinking of like Christmas light...  Like they have plastic ropes filled with lights that could plug into the timer that I have for the lights.  But then I'm afraid the lawn people might mess it up.  I mean...  Not like there is grass to mow there, but...  I dunno.  I then saw they had like light lights that plug in.  I dunno...  cc 7500centfish kumquatqueen

I think I'm "allergic" to the office's UV light cleaner thing...  It creates ozone as it cleans and when they open the door it irritates my eyes.  I told Mom this and she says maybe I need artificial eyes.  HAHAHA!!!  She meant tears.
