kumquatqueen Firstly I moved my First Communion banner to my #PrayerCorner. It had been next to my mirror, but now behind a shelf since I made my prayer space. Lol... I was legit staring at it during prayer like it was a monstrance or something. HAHAHAH!!! Felt banners!!! But then I later moved my Vatican flag and hung it on the wall behind my chair. I then went shopping!!! I bought my lighted curtain! Well... It's all separate. I bought a short / sheer curtain, then a separate hanging light "curtain". I then bought a curtain rod I might not even use... And some adhesive curtain holders which may not even work. I might just tack them to the ceiling. We'll see. Anyway... I don't know how to decorate the wall itself. As I've said, I've had my eyes on both high art and kiddie / cutesy stuff. But even then I don't know how to organize it all. I can even put stuff on the top of my bookshelf. I'm even thinking of getting a tabletop crucifix. Maybe the almost 2ft one can go there? HAHAHAH!! Lol, that's too much! In a sense, I like what I have at eye level. I have my parish calendar, then my Communion banner, then that sign board with the Liturgy of the Hours quote. There is still room for another thing. But then I don't know how other things I add will fit with it all. Should I just buy what I like then figure it out? Or figure it out and buy? Half of my book shelf is empty. Of course more books will come, but should I fill it with statues for now? I have some of my little statues on the edge. I thought of hanging my prayer cards from the edge as well. Christmas cards during Christmas... Now I don't know if I should go with a picture frame and hang the cards in it or go free for all on my wall. Ugh... Lol... I then thought of buying my pictures I want, not frame them hang them with the clothes pins. But then... I feel it might get kinda crazy / serial killer tracking looking! HAHAHAHA.
