Happy #ljanniversary to me!

21 years!  My LJ can drink!  HAHAHA...

It's also the "anniversary" of my...  What do I even call it?  Not a reversion really...  My "profound experience with the Eucharist"?

I was gonna title this I'm not a doctor clinician!  Lol...  7500centfish texted Mom and I if you can see sleep apnea on an EEG.  Not in itself?  I mean...  I have never had, nor participated in a sleep study, but I think it includes other tests which would diagnose sleep apnea, including respiration, O2 saturation, etc.  EEGs measure electrical activity in the brain, so...  It can detect sleep patterns, seizures.  7500centfish and I had them as children.  I think geebs too?  Mom said I had it because I would stop breathing when I cried.  I also had a febrile seizure as I child...  I remember being told I was "slow" but then caught up, but Mom is now saying no.  She's then not sure why 7500centfish had an EEG, probably just because I did.  cc kumquatqueen  I've mentioned it before...  But I saw the report from Mina's once.  I seem to remember it saying she understood commands in Tagalog.  I wonder if she ever learned English.  I've also said...  There was this one time when...  We were sitting in them downstairs' living room and all the seats were taken, aside from one, but the phone was on the chair and...  I don't know why, but I was just mind blown that Mina picked up the phone and moved it so she could sit.  Like...  Most of the time she'd just sit there in her own world fixated on some object.  But...  Like what really went on in her brain?

Dream?  I just remember laying in bed with my thoughts preoccupied about the use or lack of use of a humeral veil.  Like...  I don't even know what for, but I was semi freaking out afraid one wasn't used for some purpose it should be used for, but...  I can't seem to think of what it was for.  Like I guess it's mostly used in Eucharistic Adoration?  I don't know what else it would be used for, but I don't remember it being for adoration.

Like I said, there was another priest at the party and...  I saw him randomly walking to a table with a butter knife in his hand.  But he was holding it as to not have the blade out, but at the same time it looked like how one hides a knife before they attack you.  I dunno...  I just thought it was funny...  I'm weird.

My candle is drowning and the tip of the wick is short / dry so I can't really cut it.  It's a target beeswax candle and it burned on the inside and only recently are the edges folding in and melting so there is an excess of melted wax which is drowning the wick / making it shorter when it solidifies.  So I can't really trim the wick without making the wick even smaller and possibly snuffing out before I can get a flame going.  I don't know...

Episode of Clerically Speaking.  I don't know how I feel about it...  I mean, Fr. Harrison explained himself...  But he was basically saying he doesn't check for Baptismal records of the Godparent.  If I remember correctly at least 1 Godparent must be Catholic, but nowhere does it say that a priest or parish doing the baptism needs to have proof of it / on record.  So...  Because he just had other priorities, he leaves it up to the Godparents' word.  In addition, Fr. Anthony talked of it being an opportunity to bring people back, have marriages regularized, etc.  Fr. Harrison said he focuses on the parents who have daily contact with the child and works on them if there is any issue with the faith.  But then...  I've heard other podcasts saying the role of the Godparents is more important because no where in the law does it say the parents must be Catholic.  It only says a Godparent must be.  So...  I don't know how I feel about that.  Yes the parents have a huge role in teaching the faith, but...  I don't feel like they should be lax with the Godparents either.

I was hearing noises from the oven this AM as I was eating.  I didn't know how to describe the sound, but as I was sitting there...  I first mentioned to Mom it sounded like a dripping or clicking noise.  Mom opened the oven.  The noise stopped for a bit.  But then when I got to work, I described it to 7500centfish as "a bug or animal struggling in some sort of liquid occasionally hitting metal" or "inconsistent random dripping noise of liquid on metal".
