They're back.
They arrived 2AM this AM. Except they didn't bother to turn off the call forwarding so I was still getting phone calls as I walked into the office. Then Marna wasn't even down till almost 10. So... Usually it's not my job to call the missed called, but I did it anyway. My coworker then showed late so I pretty much didn't sit down till almost 9:30.
I was worried... That I'd get chewed out because of that claim issue I previous mentioned. Marna saw my note, but didn't seem to be bothered by it. Like... She didn't run to Dr. L asking what we should do. As I said... They told me to mail it, I made other attempts to get the claim through. I honestly think there is a back log. So... As long as we don't get it returned to sender... But even then we can send the returned envelope as evidence of timely filing. So... I'm not worried, but... Dr. L blows things out of proportion.
In other news... Marna bought me goodies! She got me some coconut chocolate ball or something? She also got this other coconut thing which she let me taste. Too sweet! It was like a condensed macaroon, but way too sugary. She also got me a tshirt and a pen of the canal with one of those floaty boats in the barrel.
Marna showed me her pics. Said most of the time Dr. L was in the conference, she didn't really want to do much aside from relax on the beach. I don't know if it was a black sand beach, but... They didn't want to get into the water because they thought it was dirty with oil. They said every 45 mins someone would come with insect repellent. The pics were nice. Very tropical. They went on some rain forest tour. Dinner entertainment, first night was mariachi, then Panamanian dance, then belly dancing...
2 dreams. I don't even remember what exactly... But I was in a school and they had some speaker... I was just walking past the auditorium and heard them in passing. At one point I go to the bathroom, but notice someone following me. They attempt to come into the bathroom with me, but I'm pushing against the door to prevent them from coming in. I eventually over power them and... The crowd is clearing from the auditorium and I start making fun of the guy in front of everyone like he couldn't over power me.
As I told 7500centfish, I had a dream where I was in college trying to find a shower... I was in college / HH and I had come in from the beach. I remember when I first arrived I was assigned to 1 room, but for some reason was in another. I was then attempting to shower after being at the beach. The bathrooms were communal, but within dorm rooms. There was a line forming and geebs was waiting in line too. I get tired of waiting, so I attempted to go to my former room and shower there. But when I entered the room, someone was blocking the door purposely so I couldn't come in. They then comment geebs has used this bathroom more / they were more welcoming to him than me. Someone then comments I used to room there. Eventually I make it into the bathroom, but it's... It was converted into some fancy spa, but also in Disney. Like it looked futuristic, all shiny black surfaces. I find an attendant and ask them where the school bathroom is and they point toward the end. I eventually make it to a white tiled area, but even then I have a hard time finding the showers. I feel like I've had dreams before with this exact bathroom, I just remember long halls and just being lost in a big bathroom complex. I eventually go down a hall and it seems to be a utility corridor. I'm now dragging a really heavy rolling luggage which is making me feel sluggish, like not only is dragging it slow, everything is slow. The bag gets stuck and I just let go and things speed up. On my way back to the bathroom area I pass a section that is under construction and realize it's a Disney ride. I keep trying to remember the name thinking... It's something with an M, I keep thinking Matterhorn, but I know that's not the right ride. "The one in Epcot"... I'm not remembering it's the Maelstrom. I then pass into another room and... OMG! Is that a Bedknobs and Broomstick ride??? I then ask another attendant about getting to the bathroom and they lead my through / bypass a ride to get to it, but in the process I have to go through some exercise course. Next thing I know I'm outside in a theme park.
It was previously announced that Word on Fire was doing something in regards to the Liturgy of the Hours. Ooh... I love everything WOF. Well today they released a " trailer" of sorts. Basically it's a monthly subscription for Morning / Evening / Night prayer. Meh? I mean... I get that in Christian Prayer and the fact it's a monthly sub. People suspect it's more for parishes to get their parishioners involved. Like... Some have daily missals for free in the pews. So... Yeah, not gonna get it. That being said, LOTH was life changing for me. I wish more people, esp in the family would take it up. Outside of the Mass it's the official prayer of the Church...
They had a relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis at St. A and the archbishop of Assisi came with it. St. A posted pics and Fr. I was in attendance. There was also a "high profile" funeral at St. E. It was for a retired FDNY who was active in post 9-11 activities.
