I smell like vinegar...
7500centfish said I should pour soy sauce on myself. A bay leaf, some garlic... Lol. Supposedly vinegar loosens up coffee residue so I soaked my coffee tumbler cap in vinegar last night. When I washed it this AM it got all over my scrubs. So I swapped them out for another pair, but I could still smell it on my skin???
Marna and Dr. L left today. He saw patients in the AM, but then left at 12:30 for the airport. Not many called because they were sick, but a lot of people were asking for forms either to be faxed that were already filled or to fill them. If it can wait, I left it for Dr. L, but a lot of people want to start sports and we usually rush them... So I filled like 2 forms. I'm a big girl! I mean... It was pretty easy for the 1st. I just copied last years physical and updated anything that needed to be updated. The 2nd... I wasn't sure if mental health should be added to the form. I mean... It says to mention mental health, but I've never had Dr. L pester me about a patient needing to see mental health services like he does for other specialist. Like... He'll withhold forms till the patient is seen or at least has an appt. I looked at a chart of another kid with serious mental health issues and he did mention it, so... I decided to include it as well. Had to write a script confirming a child had an allergy... To Play-doh! My coworker was so sad for the kid! While they were still in the airport we had to text a rash pic to Dr. L, but they were boarding and hadn't received it so he said to just send them to urgent care. But they never called back. Last minute someone called. I was gonna say just go to urgent care, but... They've been coughing for a week. It can wait till Dr. L answers in the AM... Aside from that didn't do much. Gloria had the billing books, which is what I normally do. I didn't want to do referrals either. Looking back... What did I do???
Oh yeah... As I said yesterday I didn't know if I should get up and do stuff or just sleep the extra hour. Well, this AM, when I was intending to go 9 to 5, Marna texted me to come 10 to 6. So... I sat around and trolled the web. Part of me wishes... I want to do something more productive. I'd love to be able to go to Mass... But like... When I was going to daily Mass, the fact I'd eat afterward. I was rushing out of the house not spending any time with Mom in the AM. I dunno... And, I don't know if a place that had Mass near here or near work that fits with the time. So... I don't know if I'll sleep in tomorrow or do something...
I was playing my music, Matt Maher out loud and I thought I heard Gloria humming along. It turned out to be a different song she was humming. Anyway... I wonder if she knows about him cause she's Evangelical and... Their services are basically concerts with a sermon, so... But then again half of them think Matt Maher needs to find Jesus because he's Catholic.
Someone on #CatholicTwitter said when they were 18 they ordered checks with the crucified Jesus. Not ashamed, but they questioned who they were trying to reach with them. It made me laugh because... Whenever I write a check to my church... Like, Fr. I isn't gonna see it, probably some office worker. But LOL!!! Freaking Disney couples like Aurora / Phillip, Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp! There is one more... I can't think right now. I used to have Winnie the Pooh checks and Garfield.
They give me money to buy my lunch. But it's cash and... I wish I could get delivery / pay in cash, but... Can they do that? I know if I call the Chinese place on the phone they deliver / I can give them cash. But then I also feel weird about tipping with money that isn't my own. So I walk across the street. I have the choice of deli food, pizza or Chinese. 7500centfish told me to get pizza. I got a sandwich because I wanted something light. They also have a Jewish meat place that serves hot food. Also a diner on the other street. Oh and a Hawaiian place. But... Everything tasted like poi... So yeah, if I could pay with cash on delivery I'd have more options. Lol. One year Dr. M wanted Wendy's and... I didn't have my car that day so I had to borrow her car and drove there.
Hulu has Murder on the Nile. 7500centfish and I are gonna try to simulcast it... I remember getting kicked off of Netflix when 7500centfish logged on so... Maybe I need to order popcorn off Amazon...
