I don't feel like being downstairs right now...
7500centfish just texted me to look up flight and... Ugh. I just don't want to be downstairs right now. Of course I also need to drink my water and don't want to fall asleep. Anyway, she says there are direct flights out of the city. She initially looked at the local airport, but one included a terminal change. I guess my concern, even if it's cheaper is getting Mom to another terminal. But then if it's the city, we'd have to get a cab or uber and... Last time we took one, Mom didn't even turn on her phone so we got charged a late fee because we were waiting for a text. So... We have to weigh those things. I was thinking... Maybe if we can get a wheelchair / escort it would make a plane change easier. But then I think the closer airport also equals the price of an uber too... It's pretty much the same? Let me write first...
Dream. I don't even think there is a coherent story. As always it's a party. Br. David / Joshua were there at Jennie's house, but by the time I had come Br. David had left and Br. Joshua was cleaning up after him. Some woman was talking to him across a table and I wondered who it was. I was sitting at a table and I turn to the table behind me and ask Summer who it is. Not knowing if it's Angelo's or durlxnemesis's girlfriend. I had gotten up at some point and mention I'm gonna get my dessert, so I go to the table where Bro. Joshua is sitting and there is only fruit salad. So I get some. I then remember looking in a fridge for water and all they have is liter bottles, but I didn't want to open a new bottle. For some reason Angelo was looking in the ref with me for something else. I also remember Jennie was there, but I don't remember what happened in regards to her.
Driving to work. I saw a car that had some sticker on it saying Pray Psalm 109. What is 109? I then notice he has a Chaminade sticker as well. Ooh... Catholic! So, I then tried to see what specific verse it was saying, so I got a closer look. The sticker actually said, "Pray for Biden Psalm 109:8. Hm... I mean, I've prayed for him, but my prayers for him is to align his will, really practice his faith according to Church teaching. I pray he repents before he dies... But yikes.
New ep of CSYSK. It was on Dante's Purgatorio. Maybe I should read Dante... Anyway, in their banter they mentioned their plan is for Frs. Mike and John to be the backbone, but they're gonna try to see if they can have younger guys come in and do a topic here and there, occasional colabs with other podcasts. Testing the waters for now.
Fr. Mike's homily. Wow... He basically called out Catholic schools which are Catholic in name only. He didn't mention his school, but he said he wasn't really into the faith in a true sense, but wanted to major in theology because of the verse about be prepared to give a testimony, etc. So where best, but a Catholic school. He then graduated, became a missionary, but then he mocked the priest he worked with. There was a point he was very sick / thought he would die and a priest came to him for "Last rites" and he refused confession. Later, when he became a priest he brought it up with his spiritual director who sat on it, but then later brought it up. That he had denied God's mercy and had he died he would have been away from God forever. Like it never hit him till that moment. From there he talked of Catholic schools that don't really teach the faith that it could really end up damning someone...

Mom fried up some ham and the new smoke alarm went off. Mom said it was really loud, but I didn't hear a thing. Imma gonna die! Lol. As I told 7500centfish and kumquatqueen we also have a smoke / CO2 detector in the living room / upstairs hall. I also have a smoke detector in my room which I disabled because my incense keeps setting it off. LOL!
I hijacked family chat's St. Patrick greetings with St. Gertrude greetings. Played... Not really Name that Saint with Jhumna, but name saints that have amnimals associated! St. Francis, obvs. St. Dominic has a dog. St. Hugh...
I wore my green pullover and shamrock earrings. I was also expecting corned beef and cabbage for lunch, but got costco dumplings. Ugh...
